Elijah Stasche Eckhardt of Glenwood Florida, lovingly known as Weeble to his family and friends, was taken home to Jesus on Sunday morning, February 27th, 2011 at 10:46 AM, after a tragic swimming pool accident. He is a great joy to all who know him, and is loved by many people. His family will miss him terribly, but are so comforted by the LORD’s love and salvation. Until they too are called home, Weeble leaves behind Mommy and Daddy, Jennifer and Troy; siblings Kaj, Japheth, Heike, Silas, and Katie; grandparents Betty and Sam Eckhardt, and Betty Gunter; Aunt Tricia, Uncle Stan, and cousins CJ, Hannah, and Samuel; Aunt Susie, Uncle Herbie and cousins Herbie, Abby, and Nathan; Uncle Erik and many, many friends. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at the BIBLE Baptist Church, 872 Glenwood Road, DeLand. Arrangements will be handled by Lankford Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been set up in Weeble’s name at TD Bank.
